Social Work Announcements Welcome back! As the school year begins, students' and parents' emotions range from excitement to worry or fear. For many young students entering Kindergarten or beginning their first grade year when they will "stay all day," the first few days of school can be challenging. We also have many new students to the district this year and for those students, making the transition to a new school, new peers and new community can be exciting, but also stressful. Teachers, staff and school social workers are available to you and your children to help make the transition into school a smooth and successful one.
